Recently a backdoor was discovered in a core package that pretty much all Linux distributions use. Read more here. Since TROMjaro is a Manjaro fork (thus Arch) is very likely to no be affected by it. However it is better to be safe than sorry.
Thus, this release provides an updated version of the package xz that was backdoored. Keep your TROMjaro up to date and make sure your xz package is not 5.6.0-1 or 5.6.1-1. It should be 5.6.1-2. Open Add/Remove Software and search for “xz lzma” and see the version:
