I am trying to release a new ISO but there are some issues with it. So it may be delayed. In the meantime here are some things that need manual interventions.
Press the Super key and you get an error
Reason:
We had to hack the xfce4-appfinder to trigger when pressing the Super key and disappear when you press it again. But after our suggestion the XFCE crew implemented such features. So now we removed the hack.
Solution:
Go to Keyboard > Application Shortcuts
Find the Super L key, double click the command, and add xfce4-appfinder to the command. Now the Super key opens the xfce4-appfinder.
Open the xfce4-appfinder, press Preferences, and do these, especially the highlighted ones:
Done! Now the Super key opens the AppFinder and clicking anywhere makes it disappear. Easy and no hack.
Zombie icons
XFCE implemented their own solution based on our hacking to get rid of the zombie .desktop icons. Not much to say more than you can delete the folder .local/share/fix-zombie-appicons/ as it is not needed anymore.
