Hello,
I get an error message (authentification failed - I am confident i am inserting the correct password) when attempting to apply all app updates.

Sorry for the late reply. I saw this on another machine but never on mine…
If you reboot will it work? Let me know so we can go from there on.

thanks @Tio I think it maybe a disk storage issue, I have cleaned it up and it seems to be ok.

I have tried manjaro forums and most suggest force refresh but this did not work.
I have tried AI recommendations:
deleting cache
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/pacman/sync/extra.db
wiping sync directory
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/pacman/sync/*
ignoring package
sudo pacman -Syu --ignore linux66-nvidia-580xx-open-580.159.03-2
disabling and then enabling chatoic AUR in config
sudo nano /etc/pacman.conf
Any suggestions?
